  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 cup refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and pizza sauce until combined. Remove from heat.
  4. Press half of the pizza dough into a greased pie dish to form the bottom crust.
  5. Spoon in the beef mixture, then layer with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.
  6. Roll out the remaining dough and place it over the filling; seal edges by crimping.
  7. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown; let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
