  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 10 slices turkey bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together brown sugar and butter. Add peanut butter, egg, and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt into the wet mixture until just incorporated.
  4. Fold in crumbled turkey bacon (reserve some for topping) and half of the chopped peanuts (reserve some for topping). Spread evenly in the prepared dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top after baking; return to oven for one minute until melted. Spread chocolate evenly and top with reserved bacon and peanuts.
