  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 lb cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Spray the slow cooker with olive oil.
  2. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Add marinara sauce, garlic powder, onion granules, Italian seasoning, paprika, red chili flakes, and chicken broth; ensure the chicken is submerged.
  4. Cook on LOW for about 4 hours until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Shred the cooked chicken with two forks and return it to the slow cooker.
  6. Stir in tortellini, mozzarella cheese, and heavy cream; mix well to coat.
  7. Cover and cook on LOW for an additional 30 minutes until tortellini are tender.
  8. Stir in baby spinach and cook for another 10 minutes until wilted.
  9. Add grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
